Laia Kverneland NEW CHAIRWOMAN OF Nordic Folk Alliance
Laia Kverneland is the new chairwoman of the board of Nordic Folk Alliance, taking over after Kathrine Synnes Finnskog, Managing Director at Music Norway. Laia is the International Projects Manager & Artist Coach at Tempi, and has been one of the driving forces behind putting Nordic Folk Alliance initiative together in the first place.
Laia has a background as Artis Business Coach, Export Advisor, Manager & Booking Agent, as well as a frequent lecturer and panelist. Currently based in Copenhagen.
Tempi is an organisation working to promote folk-, world- and related music genres in Denmark, and at the same time to promote Danish folk, world and related genres internationally.
“I am very honoured to take on the chair of the Nordic Folk Alliance music conference, after the most brilliantly awesome Kathrine Synnes Finnskog from Music Norway. Without Kathrine's vision and determination of the Nordic Folk brand, we wouldn't have conference.
